Mark Boyce

Mark Boyce

An experienced national manager and trainer, intelligence analyst, detective, business analyst and business owner, Mark brings you highly practical technical advice, coaching and training - drawing from 30 years' experience in law enforcement and intelligence and over 20 years' international experience in providing technical advice, consultancy and training services in capability building, intelligence, investigations, regulatory compliance, business analysis and information systems.

Mark's experience includes: serious and transnational crime; terrorism responses; risk management; regulatory compliance, health and safety; and development of information technology systems and business processes to manage these issues.

Mark is a registered Workplace Assessor for unit standards on the NZQA national qualifications framework.

An i2 Analyst's Notebook user since 1990, i2 trainer since 1993, Mark certified as an i2 trainer with i2 Ltd in Cambridge, England. He also offers experience developing interfaces between i2 Analyst's Notebook and databases.

Technical Advisors
Neil Bullock

Neil Bullock

Having served in law enforcement roles in the United Kingdom and New Zealand, Neil also developed and delivered training for the NZ Police detective training programme and held the position of Officer in Charge of the Organised Crime Unit in the NZ Police national headquarters.

Since leaving police, Neil has reviewed and developed inter-agency organised crime strategies and human source (informant) management programmes; redeveloped best-practice models for homicide investigations; and carried out senior business analysis assignments with various government departments.

Neil is a registered Workplace Assessor for unit standards on the NZQA national qualifications framework.

Cath Kara

Cath Kara

Cath is a former Head of the Cook Islands Financial Intelligence Unit and committee member on The Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units.

She started her FIU career as an intelligence analyst with the NZ FIU, bringing to that role her experience as a detective, serious-crime investigator and intelligence analyst. Cath brings a blend of understanding, practicality and international experience which sees her working around the world providing specialist technical advice, trouble-shooting, mentoring and capability building.

Robert Urner

Robert Urner

A security, risk management and intelligence specialist who has worked for government agencies and commercial clients in Germany, the United States, New Zealand and Australia, Rob specialises in keeping you, your staff and facilities safe from criminal or terrorist activity.

Rob has conducted security and risk assessments internationally on key government and commercial facilities and their personnel. He has also developed and delivered security and risk management training around the world.
